- A no-code platform for declaratively tuning LLM-based agents, so non-technical experts can build and steer agents. Invent declarative frameworks for describing LLM agents; design monitoring/tuning interfaces; build the full platform (DevOps, MLOps, backend, UI).

- Find and incubate new research directions and connect the lab’s theoretical work to applied use cases. Selected work: bidirectional embedding of declarative and imperative code (published at VLDB 2024); relational deep learning; declarative query-plan optimization.

- Machine learning for early, noninvasive cancer detection from stool-microbiome samples. Invented the core technology and infrastructure; led technical due diligence. First Israeli company in the global Illumina Genomics Accelerator; raised $3M; built and managed the R&D team.
